Nantettatte!! Baseball  Sunsoft1990 addons baseball saveram The two addons are:
- Nantettatte!! Baseball OB All Star Hen (released Feb 28, 1991)
- Nantettatte!! Baseball '91 Kaimaku Hen (released May 31, 1991)***Similar to the "Lock-on Technology" of [game=#33705]Sonic & Knuckles[/game], this cart has a slot on the back to plug in smaller data cartridge. In this way, customers could purchase the game once and, theoretically, play the game with updated teams and stats for every year by buying a new data cartridge from Sunsoft for cheaper than a sequel. Likewise, Sunsoft made more profit on a data cartridge than a sequel would have made them.
The game itself was dubbed an oyagame cartridge. The add-ons were kogame cartridges.

I discovered there to be at least two kogame cartridges for this game:
'91開幕編
OBオールスター編

The MESS emulator allows for a near authentic and legal (if you do it right) way to experience this oyagame+kogame experience.
mess nes -cart

OYAROM.NES

-cart2

KOGAME.NES

For other emulators, the oyagame and kogame must be plugged together and dumped (they dumping hardware must support and be set to use Sunsoft's oyagame+kogame banking scheme). But to keep it legal, this file must be erased before one can make a dump of a different joined kogame. Alternatively, one can dump the oyagame and kogames as separate files (as the MESS emulator requires), and merge the oyagame and kogame ROMs (erasing both original files in the process) to play it. To play a different kogame, this file must be separated back into the original 2 files and then the oyagame file merged with the other kogame.
But by far the easiest legal alternative would be to use a Retrode and NES plug-in adaptor (as soon as it becomes available) and simply plug in oyagame and kogame carts as you would in a real Famicom.
